The Fujifilm VG-GFX1 is a dedicated vertical battery grip designed specifically for the Fujifilm GFX 50S medium format mirrorless camera. It attaches to the base of the camera body to extend its profile downward, providing a natural and ergonomic handhold when shooting in the vertical (portrait) orientation while maintaining the camera’s optical axis alignment throughout the session.

Beyond its ergonomic benefits, the VG-GFX1 holds one additional NP-T125 rechargeable lithium-ion battery to effectively double shooting capacity and reduce the need for battery swaps on long assignments. The grip mirrors the GFX 50S control layout precisely, featuring a secondary shutter release button, Command Dial, Focus Lever, and six function (Fn) buttons all positioned to give seamless, uninterrupted access to key camera controls when the camera is rotated to portrait orientation. It is also compatible with the AC-15V AC Adapter, allowing the battery to be charged directly within the grip in approximately two hours.
