The Nikon AF 35mm f2 D is a brilliant compact prime lens, perfect for a range of photographic applications with your Nikon DSLR, including landscapes, travel photographs, documentary images and more. The bright f2 maximum aperture of the Nikon AF 35mm f2D lens is also perfect for producing good depth of field for eye-catching portraits. The classic 35mm focal length is more magnified when mounted on DX-format Nikon DSLRs, while the lens is not fully compatible with entry-level Nikon DSLRs; due to no AF motor, AF will not function when mounted on those cameras.
