DJI Osmo Mobile 8P Smartphone Gimbal (AdvancedTracking Combo)

The DJI Osmo Mobile 8P Smartphone Gimbal (AdvancedTracking Combo) is designed for creators seeking smoother, professional-quality footage with enhanced creative control. Featuring DJIs 8th-generation 3-axis stabilisation and ActiveTrack 8.0 technology, it keeps subjects steady and in frame, even in busy scenes. The AdvancedTracking Combo adds the Multifunctional Module 2, offering versatile lighting and improved tracking capabilities.

Stabilisation and Tracking Technology

The DJI Osmo Mobile 8P features an 8th-generation 3-axis stabilisation system that significantly reduces shakiness and unwanted motion, resulting in smooth, cinematic footage even when moving quickly or over uneven terrain. Coupled with ActiveTrack 8.0, the gimbal intelligently recognises and follows subjects such as people, pets, and objects, maintaining precise framing without manual adjustments. This combination addresses common challenges like losing track of fast-moving subjects or dealing with jittery handheld shots, allowing creators to focus on storytelling rather than technical difficulties.

DJI OM Multifunctional Module 2

The included Multifunctional Module 2 expands the gimbals capabilities beyond stabilisation. It integrates an adjustable fill light with customizable brightness and colour temperature, improving video quality in low-light or backlit conditions. This module also supports gesture control, enabling hands-free operation for starting and stopping recordings or taking photos, which is especially useful for solo creators or vloggers. The modules versatility enhances shooting flexibility, reducing the need for additional lighting equipment and simplifying setup.

Convenient Accessories and Design

The Advanced Tracking Combo comes with practical accessories designed for on-the-go shooting. The detachable Osmo FrameTap remote allows for remote control of the gimbal functions, making it easier to capture shots from a distance. The built-in extension rod extends your reach for higher or wider angles, while the integrated tripod provides a stable base for static shots or time-lapses. These features solve common problems such as limited shooting angles and the need for extra support gear, all while keeping the setup compact and portable.

Creative Shooting Modes

Beyond stabilisation and tracking, the Osmo Mobile 8P offers a suite of creative modes to expand your video toolkit. DynamicZoom creates dramatic zoom effects that add cinematic tension, Hyperlapse condenses long scenes into fast-moving sequences, and SpinShot delivers smooth 360-degree spins. Panoramic capture and widescreen recording options further enhance creative possibilities. These modes help content creators experiment with different visual styles and storytelling techniques without requiring complex post-production work.

Compatibility and User Experience

Designed to work seamlessly with most smartphones, the Osmo Mobile 8P supports a wide range of device sizes and weights. The native DJI Mimo app provides an intuitive interface for controlling the gimbal, adjusting settings, and accessing advanced features. Regular firmware updates ensure ongoing improvements and compatibility with new devices. This user-friendly approach helps both professional and everyday creators get the most out of their equipment with minimal learning curve.
