Description:

The Ricoh GX200 is a feature-rich compact digital camera designed for photographers who want manual control and wide-angle capability in a small package. Equipped with a 2472mm equivalent f/2.54.4 lens, it excels in both landscapes and portraits, offering bright optics and sharp rendering across the frame. Its 12MP 1/1.7-inch CCD sensor delivers excellent image quality, especially in RAW (DNG) format, which is rare for cameras in this class.

Advanced users will appreciate the manual exposure controls, customizable function buttons, and support for an optional electronic viewfinder (VF-1). The CCD-shift image stabilization helps reduce blur in low-light conditions, and the ability to shoot in RAW gives greater flexibility in post-processing.

Despite its compact size, the GX200 offers features typically found in DSLRs, such as manual focus, bracketing options, and a built-in electronic level. It’s an ideal companion for street photographers, travel shooters, and enthusiasts seeking performance without bulk.
