Description

The Canon Canonet QL28 is a compact 35mm rangefinder film camera that combines vintage design with reliable functionality, making it an excellent choice for film photography enthusiasts. Featuring a fixed Canon 40mm f/1.7 lens, it provides sharp, clear images with a wide aperture for low-light shooting and shallow depth of field effects.

The leaf shutter allows for quiet operation and fast shutter speeds, ranging from 1/4 to 1/500 second, as well as Bulb mode for long exposures. The TTL metering with a CdS light meter ensures accurate exposure control, with both auto exposure and manual mode options. The auto exposure mode adjusts the aperture and shutter speed automatically based on the lighting conditions, while the manual mode provides greater creative control over exposure settings.

The optical rangefinder viewfinder offers a clear and bright view for composing shots. The camera has an ISO range of 25 to 800, making it versatile for various lighting situations. Additionally, the hot shoe allows you to attach an external flash for more lighting control, with the flash sync speed at 1/40s.

With a compact body and weighing just 510g (without the battery), the Canon Canonet QL28 is a lightweight and portable camera, ideal for street photography, travel, and casual shooting. Its classic design and solid build make it a highly regarded camera among vintage film camera collectors and enthusiasts.
