The Konica Z-up 80 Super Zoom is a compact 35mm autofocus film camera designed for straightforward everyday photography. Its built-in 3880mm zoom lens provides a useful range from moderate wide angle to short telephoto, making it suitable for travel, snapshots, street photography, and portraits.

The 3880mm lens offers a practical perspective for a variety of subjects. At 38mm, it is useful for everyday scenes and travel photography, while the 80mm setting provides a more flattering perspective for portraits and closer compositions. The camera’s autofocus and programmed exposure system are designed to keep operation simple and accessible.

A built-in electronic flash provides additional flexibility for low-light situations and indoor photography. Automatic film advance and rewind further reduce the amount of manual operation required, making the Z-up 80 a convenient choice for photographers who want to concentrate primarily on composition.

The Konica Z-up 80 Super Zoom represents the practical compact film cameras of its period, combining autofocus, automatic exposure, a versatile zoom lens, and a built-in flash in a portable body.
