Who Is This Made For?

The MC Close-Up Lens No. 5 is for photographers who want to try close-up and macro shots with a lens they already own.

+5 dioptres of close focus

Screws onto the filter thread and lets the lens focus much closer. With the lens set to infinity the subject is sharp at about 200 mm.

Multi-coated

Multi-coated glass keeps contrast up and flare down at close range.

Macro without a macro lens

No exposure compensation and autofocus keeps working, so it is the simplest way to try close-up photography with a lens you already own.
