Amaran Light Dome 90 Softbox: Round 90 cm softbox with rod-pull setup
The Amaran Light Dome 90 Softbox (Bowens Mount) is a 90 cm 16-sided parabolic softbox with a Bowens Mount speed ring, quick-release rods, two layers of diffusion and a fabric grid. Available from Amaran at Camerahaus.
Who Is This Made For?
The Light Dome 90 is for creators who want a large, round, soft key light from a COB up to 600W.
Large, round key light
A 90 cm sixteen-sided front wraps soft light around a person or a small group and keeps catchlights round.
Rod-pull setup
Pull the 16 rods to lock the frame and press the two base latches to fold it; it packs to a 77 cm tube.
Two layers of diffusion
Inner baffle plus a 1.5-stop front cloth give an even field; remove the baffle for more output.
Grid included
The fabric grid controls spill for interviews and product sets.
For COBs up to 600 W
Bowens speed ring fits the amaran 150c/300c, COB 60/100/200 series, Ray and Halo lights and other Bowens fixtures up to 600 W.
