Who Is This Made For?

The GF-2 is for GR IV owners who shoot people indoors, at night or against bright backgrounds and want a touch of flash without carrying a full-size unit. It slides into the hot shoe and stays out of the way, so the camera still fits in a jacket pocket.

Automatic Flash Control on the GR IV

Mounted on the GR IV with ISO Auto, the camera adjusts guide number and sensitivity together according to subject distance. With a fixed ISO, the flash adjusts its guide number automatically. Maximum guide number is 3 (ISO 100, metres), ideal for close-range fill.

Built-In Battery, USB-C Charging

No AAA batteries to carry. The GF-2 has an internal lithium-ion battery that charges over a USB Type-C cable, the same cable you use for the camera.

Slim Enough to Leave On

The GF-2 is one of the smallest hot-shoe flashes available, with a simple on/off switch and a test button. It is compact enough to stay mounted all day, ready for the moment you need it.
