Who Is This Made For?
The Brave 8 Lite is for anyone who wants most of the Brave 8 for less, with the same 1550 mAh batteries and 4K60 recording.
4K60 video with HDR
An Ambarella chipset and seven-element glass lens record 4K at 60 frames per second, with an HDR video mode at 4K30 that holds detail in bright skies and shadows.
48 MP photos and RAW
Stills up to 48 megapixels, with a JPG + DNG option for editing.
SuperSmooth stabilization
In-camera stabilization plus a second SuperSmooth pass in the AKASO GO app on download.
Waterproof to 10 m without a case
Rated IPX8 for swimming and snorkelling as it is; the optional case takes it to 40 m.
Vertical shooting and pre-recording
Turn the camera upright for social-ready vertical video, and let pre-recording keep the moments before you pressed the button.
Two screens, voice and remote
A front screen for framing yourself, a 2-inch touchscreen at the back, voice commands in seven languages and a wrist remote in the box.
Dual-band Wi-Fi and long runtime
5 GHz Wi-Fi speeds up transfers to the app, and each 1550 mAh battery records about 90 minutes of 4K.
