AKASO External Microphone for Action Cameras (Micro USB)

AKASO External Microphone for Action Cameras: Clip-on microphone for AKASO’s Micro USB cameras

The AKASO External Microphone for Action Cameras (Micro USB) is a clip-on directional microphone with a foam windscreen that plugs into the Micro USB port of AKASO action cameras. Available from AKASO at Camerahaus.

Who Is This Made For?

The microphone is for vloggers using an EK7000 Pro, Brave 4, Brave 4 Pro, V50 X or V50 Elite who want clearer speech.

Clearer voices than the built-in mic

A directional capsule on a clip picks up speech close to the mouth instead of the tiny microphone in the camera body.

Plug in and select External

It draws power from the camera’s Micro USB port; set Microphone to External in the menu and it is live.

Wind foam included

The foam windscreen softens wind and breath noise for cycling and vlogging.

Check the port first

Only cameras with a Micro USB port and an external-mic setting work with it; the USB-C Braves take the USB-C version.
