AKASO External Microphone for Action Cameras (USB-C)

AKASO External Microphone for Action Cameras: Clip-on microphone for the USB-C Braves

The AKASO External Microphone for Action Cameras (USB-C) is a clip-on directional microphone with a right-angle USB-C plug and braided cable for the Brave 7, Brave 8 and Brave 8 Lite. Available from AKASO at Camerahaus.

Who Is This Made For?

The microphone is for Brave 7 and Brave 8 vloggers who want clearer speech than the built-in microphones.

Made for the USB-C Braves

A right-angle USB-C plug sits flush against the Brave 7 and Brave 8 port and powers the mic from the camera.

Directional pickup

The unidirectional capsule favours the speaker and rejects noise from behind, with a foam windscreen for wind and breath.

Braided, clip-on

A braided cable resists tangles and a sprung clip holds the capsule on a collar or helmet strap.
