The Amaran Halo 60x Bi-Color COB LED Monolight is a compact bi-colour COB light with a full-size Bowens Mount, USB-C PD power, NFC tap-to-pair and a quiet three-mode fan. Available from Amaran at Camerahaus.
Who Is This Made For?
The amaran Halo 60x is for creators who want a Bowens Mount light that runs from a USB-C power bank such as the amaran Peak.
Ultra-compact bi-colour
A 56 W bi-colour COB in a 420 g body that is over 28 percent brighter than the COB 60x S.
USB-C PD power
Runs from the included 65 W USB-C adapter or any USB-C PD 3.0 source, including portable batteries like the amaran Peak.
Dual knobs and TFT screen
Separate brightness and colour temperature knobs with a simplified menu mean no digging through settings mid-shoot.
Bowens Mount
A full-size metal Bowens Mount accepts soft boxes, domes and the optional Mini Reflector or Mini Fresnel.
App, NFC and DMX
Tap a phone on the NFC tag to pair with the amaran app; an optional USB-C adapter adds wired DMX.
Quiet fan modes
Silent, Smart and High fan modes, with no more than 28 dBA in Smart mode.
Nine effects
Fireworks, Faulty Bulb, Lightning, TV, Pulsing, Strobe, Explosion, Fire and Paparazzi are built in.
