Amaran Octa Dome 60 Softbox (Bowens Mount)

Amaran Octa Dome 60 Softbox: One-snap 60 cm octagonal softbox

The Amaran Octa Dome 60 Softbox (Bowens Mount) is a 60 cm eight-sided softbox with a one-snap umbrella-style frame, a Bowens Mount speed ring, two diffusion layers and a fabric grid. Available from Amaran at Camerahaus.

Who Is This Made For?

The Octa Dome 60 is for creators who want a soft source that opens in one motion and packs flat.

One-snap setup

The umbrella-style frame opens with a single snap and folds flat again, so there are no rods to fit into a speed ring.

Compact octagonal source

At 60 cm it suits head-and-shoulders portraits, desk setups and small product tables, with an octagonal catchlight.

Two diffusion layers plus grid

Inner baffle, 1.5-stop front cloth and a fabric grid are all included; use fewer layers for more output.

Flat-pack and light

Folds to 59.0 x 20.5 x 6.5 cm and weighs 0.70 kg, easy to carry to location shoots.

For COBs up to 600 W

Bowens speed ring fits the amaran 150c/300c, COB 60/100/200 series, Ray and Halo lights and other Bowens fixtures up to 600 W.
