Carl Zeiss Mutar 1.4x T*: teleconverter for the Contax 645 system
The Carl Zeiss Mutar 1.4x T* is a teleconverter for the Contax 645 system. 1.4x autofocus-compatible teleconverter for the telephoto lenses of the Contax 645 medium-format system. Available from ZEISS at Camerahaus.
Who Is This Made For?
The Mutar 1.4x T* is for Contax 645 owners who want more reach from their lenses.
1.4x more reach
Multiplies the focal length of the Contax 645 telephoto lenses by 1.4 at the cost of one stop of light.
Autofocus and auto exposure carried through
Fully AF/AE compatible, so the lens keeps focusing and metering as usual.
For the 645 telephotos
Made for the Sonnar T* 2.8/140, Sonnar T* 4/210 and Tele-Apotessar T* 4/350; it cannot be used with the shorter Contax 645 lenses.
