Hot Sale NiSi 82mm Natural Night Filter (Light Pollution Filter)

The NiSi 82mm Natural Night Filter is purpose-built for night and astrophotography, designed to reduce the appearance of light pollution in images and video that capture the night sky. This filter blocks the most common wavelengths of light pollution, including those emitted by mercury vapour, sodium, and low Color Rendering Index (CRI) streetlights, which are prevalent in urban areas. Crafted from high-quality, precision-annealed optical glass with finely ground and polished surfaces, it ensures exceptional clarity and sharpness for modern high-megapixel cameras. The filter features NiSi’s proprietary NANO Coating technology with double-sided, multi-layer coatings that reduce reflection and glare whilst offering waterproof and oil-resistant properties for easy maintenance.

• Blocks yellow light wavelengths from sodium-vapour, mercury-vapour lamps, and low CRI LEDs
• Enhances visibility of astronomical objects and improves contrast in night sky imagery
• Premium optical glass construction with nano coating for reduced ghosting and flare
• Waterproof and oil-resistant coating makes cleaning simple and safe
• 82mm thread size compatible with a wide range of lenses
