Linksys MX8400 AX8400 WiFi 6 Tri-Band Smart Mesh System with 2,700 sq ft Coverage per Node (2-Pack)

The Linksys MX8400 combines two AX4200 WiFi 6 mesh nodes to extend reliable wireless coverage across larger homes. Each node uses tri-band wireless, eight spatial streams, OFDMA, and nine internal antennas to help handle streaming, gaming, video calls, smart home devices, and other simultaneous network activity.

One Network Across More of the Home

Each node provides coverage up to 2,700 square feet. Intelligent Mesh lets the two included nodes operate as one network, while seamless roaming helps compatible devices stay connected as you move between rooms. Additional compatible nodes can be added later if the network needs to reach farther.

Flexible Wired and Wireless Placement

The nodes support gigabit Ethernet for wired devices and can connect to each other wirelessly or through Ethernet backhaul. That gives users more flexibility when placing nodes around homes where walls, distance, or heavy network traffic can make wireless placement more challenging.

The Linksys app handles setup and everyday management, including guest access, parental controls, device monitoring, Channel Finder, speed testing, and prioritization for up to three connected devices. USB 3.0 also supports compatible external drives for local network file sharing.
