Description

The Olympus mju Zoom 105 is a compact 35mm film camera from Olympus’s popular mju series, also known as the Stylus Zoom 105 in some markets. It combines a weather-resistant compact body with a versatile 38105mm zoom lens, making it a practical camera for everyday photography, travel, and casual snapshots.

Its built-in 38105mm lens covers a useful range from moderate wide-angle to short telephoto. The wider end works well for street scenes, travel, and everyday subjects, while the 105mm setting provides a more compressed perspective that is useful for portraits and distant details. The camera uses autofocus and programmed automatic exposure for straightforward operation.

The mju Zoom 105 features a built-in electronic flash and automatic film transport, allowing the camera to handle film loading, advance, and rewind with minimal input from the photographer. Its compact design and sliding lens cover also make it convenient to carry and help protect the lens when the camera is stored.

With its simple operation, autofocus system, built-in flash, and practical zoom range, the Olympus mju Zoom 105 is well suited to casual 35mm photography. It is particularly appealing to photographers looking for an easy-to-use compact film camera for travel, street photography, everyday snapshots, and the distinctive experience of shooting on film.
