Description

The Ricoh CX4 is an advanced travel-zoom compact digital camera introduced in 2010, celebrated for packing a massive 10.7 optical zoom (28300mm equivalent) into a super-slim 29.4mm body using Ricoh’s signature Double Retracting Lens System. Powered by a 10.0-megapixel back-illuminated (BSI) CMOS sensor and the Smooth Imaging Engine IV, it delivers low-noise images, natural color accuracy, and high-speed performance including 5 fps continuous shooting.

Designed with serious street and macro photographers in mind, the CX4 features Ricoh’s famous Snap Focus mode (instantly setting focus to a preset distance for rapid street shooting), an Electronic Level, and an extraordinary 1 cm Super Macro / Zoom Macro mode. Image clarity is ensured across the entire 28300mm range thanks to Sensor-Shift Image Stabilization and a ultra-high-resolution 3.0-inch 920,000-dot LCD screen.

Complete with 720p HD video, Creative Aperture modes (such as Miniaturize, Soft Focus, and High Contrast B&W), 86MB of internal memory, and robust metal construction, the Ricoh CX4 remains a highly versatile pocket camera for daily street photography, travel, and vintage compact enthusiasts.
