Description

The Nippon Kogaku GN Auto Nikkor 45mm F2.8 is a rare and distinctive vintage Nikon lens, designed with a Guide Number (GN) coupling system that mechanically links aperture and focus distance for flash photography. This unique feature allows photographers to set flash exposure quickly and accurately, a clever solution from Nikons early engineering era.

With its 45mm focal length, the lens offers a natural perspective that sits perfectly between wide and standard, making it ideal for street, documentary, and everyday photography. The optical design delivers classic vintage rendering, with pleasant contrast, gentle sharpness, and beautiful film character.

As a Non-Ai lens, it is best suited for classic Nikon film bodies such as Nikon F, F2, Nikkormat series, and is especially appealing to collectors and Nikon heritage enthusiasts.
