The PROMASTER UV filter absorbs the ultraviolet rays which often makes outdoor photographs hazy and indistinct. The PROMASTER UV is a multi-purpose filter for color as well as black and white films. The UV also serves as a permanent lens protector. Constant use will protect your valued lenses from expensive front element damage which could be caused by dirt, chips and scratches.
