Description

The Rollei-HFT Distagon 25mm F2.8 (QBM mount) is a classic 35mm full-frame wide-angle prime lens created through the historical optical partnership of Carl Zeiss and Rollei. Built for Rollei’s Quick Bayonet Mount (QBM) SLR camera system, this optic combines Zeiss’s renowned Distagon 8-element in 7-group retrofocus design with Rollei’s proprietary HFT (High Fidelity Transfer) multi-coating technology.

Delivering an expansive 80-degree diagonal angle of view, the Distagon 25mm f/2.8 is celebrated for its low geometric distortion, exceptional micro-contrast, and rich, saturated color rendition. The advanced HFT multi-coatingdeveloped alongside Zeiss T*effectively suppresses internal ghosting and flare, enabling sharp, clean performance in backlit or high-contrast environments.

Featuring a close 0.25m minimum focus distance, a compact 49mm filter thread, an all-metal barrel, and a light 280-gram weight, the Rollei-HFT Distagon 25mm F2.8 remains a highly prized vintage optic for both 35mm film shooters and modern mirrorless photographers using adapted QBM lenses.
