The Sigma 90mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary is a mid-telephoto prime lens built exclusively for full-frame mirrorless camera systems, sitting within Sigma’s premium I series lineup. It features an all-metal body with a manual aperture ring, a rounded 9-blade diaphragm for smooth bokeh, and an optical construction of 11 elements in 10 groups including 5 SLD low-dispersion elements and 1 aspherical element to deliver exceptional sharpness, clarity, and colour accuracy across the entire frame.

Designed to excel in portraiture, close-up work, weddings, and everyday shooting, the lens pairs a bright f/2.8 maximum aperture with a stepping motor autofocus system for fast, silent, and precise focusing. Its internal focusing design means the barrel does not extend during use, and a minimum focus distance of 50cm with a 1:5 maximum magnification ratio enables compelling close-up photography. Compact and lightweight at just 295g, it is optimised for modern full-frame mirrorless bodies and fully compatible with the camera’s in-body aberration correction system.
