Tamron’s 2.4x range runs from a 16mm-equivalent ultra-wide to a 37mm semi-wide on APS-C, ideal for landscapes, cityscapes and interiors.
Six aspherical elements
Three large glass-moulded aspherics and three hybrid aspherics suppress spherical aberration, coma and distortion.
Close focus of 0.24 m throughout
Focus as close as 24 cm at any focal length, reaching 1:5.1 magnification at 24mm.
Compact Di II design
The image circle is matched to APS-C sensors, keeping the lens small at 86.5 mm and about 400 g.
Internal focusing
The lens length stays constant and the front does not rotate, convenient with the supplied petal hood and filters.
