Description

The Olympus 1060 (also known as the Stylus 1060) is an exceptionally sleek, high-style compact digital camera from Olympus’s legendary series, merging ultra-slim elegance with a powerful 7 optical reach. Encased in a refined, metallic chassis, it features a 10.0-megapixel CCD sensor driven by Olympus’s signature TruePic III image processor, capturing rich, punchy colors, clean contrast, and the highly sought-after nostalgic rendering of late-2000s digital cameras.

What makes the 1060 truly stand out is its versatile built-in 7 optical zoom lens (37260mm equivalent), bringing distant subjects up close while keeping the body remarkably slim at just 25.1mm thick. To ensure every shot remains razor-sharp at telephoto distances or in low light, the camera is equipped with Dual Image Stabilization (combining CCD-Shift mechanical IS with High ISO sensitivity). It also features a breathtaking 2cm Super Macro mode for ultra-close details and records smooth 640480 VGA video Clips.

Complemented by a large 3.0-inch HyperCrystal II LCD, Face Detection technology, and versatile storage options supporting both classic xD-Picture Cards and modern microSD cards via the MASD-1 adapter, the Olympus 1060 is a chic, feature-packed pocket companion ideal for travel, daily street snapshots, and Y2K vintage digital photography.
