Description

The Olympus PEN Lite E-PL6 is a compact Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera introduced in 2013. It combines a 16.1-megapixel Live MOS sensor with Olympus’ TruePic VI image processor, sensor-shift image stabilization, and a high-speed autofocus system. The camera supports interchangeable Micro Four Thirds lenses and provides a compact alternative to larger DSLR systems.

The E-PL6 offers a broad range of manual and automatic shooting controls, including Program, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, and Manual exposure modes. Its ISO range extends from ISO 200 to 25600, while the camera can shoot continuously at up to approximately 8 frames per second. A 3.0-inch tilting touchscreen LCD with approximately 460,000 dots provides the main interface for composition and playback.

The included Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm F4-5.6 R is a compact telephoto zoom covering an 80300mm equivalent range. Its 13-element, 10-group optical design includes one ED element, while the MSC mechanism provides fast and quiet autofocus suitable for both still photography and video.

With a 0.9m minimum focusing distance, 0.16 maximum magnification, seven-blade circular diaphragm, and lightweight 190g construction, the 40-150mm lens provides useful reach for portraits, sports, travel, and distant subjects without adding substantial weight to the E-PL6 system.
