The Viltrox AF 16mm f/1.8 is a full-frame ultra-wide-angle prime lens designed for Sony E-mount cameras, offering a sweeping 105.6 angle of view at a bright f/1.8 maximum aperture. Its advanced optical construction features 15 elements arranged in 12 groups including 4 Extra-low Dispersion (ED) elements and 3 aspheric lenses complemented by HD nano multi-layer coating to effectively control dispersion, ghosting, and flare for sharp, vibrant results across the frame.

Driven by a noiseless STM stepping motor, this lens delivers fast, smooth, and silent autofocus with support for eye and face detection, making it equally capable for stills and video. A stepless manual aperture ring, an innovative built-in LCD screen displaying aperture, focus distance, and other lens data, plus a USB-C port for firmware updates round out a feature set built for modern creative professionals. The weather-sealed, all-metal body with a precision brass-plated bayonet ensures durability in demanding shooting conditions, while compatibility with 77mm filters adds further versatility for landscape, astrophotography, and architectural work.
