Description

The Voigtlander Color-Skopar 20mm F3.5 SL II Aspherical is an extraordinarily compact ultra-wide-angle manual focus prime lens designed for Canon EF mount 35mm full-frame and APS-C DSLRs. Manufactured in Japan by Cosina under the legendary Voigtlander brand name, this lens is highly prized for its pancake form factor and premium all-metal mechanical construction.

Measuring less than 3cm in length and weighing just 205 grams, it serves as one of the smallest ultra-wide lenses available for Canon SLR systems. Optically, it features 9 elements in 6 groups, incorporating a double-sided aspherical element to control geometric distortion, coma, and spherical aberrations across its sweeping 94-degree field of view.

Despite being a precision manual-focus optic, the EF-mount version includes integrated CPU contacts and an electronic aperture drive. This enables full camera metering compatibility across all exposure modes (M, Av, Tv, P), complete EXIF data logging, and focal confirmation within the cameras viewfinder. Featuring a close 0.20m minimum focusing distance, a standard 52mm filter thread, and a 9-blade diaphragm, the Color-Skopar 20mm F3.5 SL II offers a unique blend of vintage tactile control and modern ultra-wide portability.
