Description
The Mamiya Macro M 140mm f/4.5 M/L-A is one of the most advanced macro lenses in the Mamiya RZ67 system, designed for both close-up precision and portrait-level rendering. With a native 1:3 magnification, it allows detailed macro work without requiring extension tubes, while still functioning as a versatile short telephoto lens.

A key feature of this lens is its floating element system, which maintains sharpness and contrast across different focusing distancesespecially important for macro photography where image quality often drops at close range. The built-in leaf shutter enables flash synchronization at all speeds, making it highly effective for studio and controlled lighting setups.

In real-world use, this lens stands out for its balance between macro capability and everyday usability. It delivers clean, sharp detail with smooth tonal transitions, making it equally suitable for product photography, portraits, and fine-detail work within the RZ67 system.
