The Viltrox AF 13mm f/1.4 is an ultra-wide angle prime lens designed for APS-C Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras, offering a 20mm full-frame equivalent field of view and a wide 94 angle of view. Its fast f/1.4 maximum aperture stepping down to f/16 makes it an excellent choice for landscapes, cityscapes, street photography, architecture, astrophotography, and low-light shooting, while its 9-blade diaphragm delivers smooth, pleasing bokeh when shooting wide open.

The lens features a sophisticated optical construction of 14 elements in 11 groups, incorporating two aspherical elements, two high-refractive elements, and four extra-low dispersion (ED) elements to minimise chromatic aberration, distortion, and spherical aberrations. An STM stepping motor delivers fast, quiet, and precise autofocus with support for eye/face detection AF and full-time manual focus override, while an internal focusing design keeps the lens length constant during use. A durable all-metal body, HD nano coating, EXIF data transmission, and a USB-C port for firmware updates round out this capable and compact prime lens.
