Made for use on APS-C format mirrorless cameras, this Viltrox prime lens provides a medium telephoto 85mm equivalent focal length, which is hugely popular among portrait photographers. This classic field of view is paired with an ultra-bright f1.4 maximum aperture that helps you achieve those blurred backgrounds you’re after. The STM AF motor delivers smooth and quiet performance, making it well-suited for video and action photography, while its compact and portable build makes it ideal for travel.

The Viltrox AF 56mm f1.4 features quality lens construction with 10 elements in 9 groups, including ED and High Refraction Index glass to ensure sharpness and minimize aberrations. HD Nano multilayer coating is applied throughout. Despite weighing under 300 grams, the lens is solidly built with a brass bayonet mount, gold-plated electrical contacts, and all-metal construction.

The ultra-bright f1.4 maximum aperture is easy to control via a manual aperture ring, with an ‘A’ setting available for those preferring automation. Eye AF is supported on compatible cameras. A micro USB interface allows for firmware updates to keep the lens performing at its best.
